Capes and Orange Heels

Hey everyone!

Hope you all are really enjoying this beautiful sunny weather! As the weather warms up and we get closer to summer I realize that it is only a matter of months before I graduate and take on my adventures in New York. It crazy to think about how quickly time can pass. I remember it like it was yesterday that I was embarking on my college career as a wide-eyed curious freshman who had no idea what would happen with her life. Now I am less than 2 months until graduation and less than 6 until my move to the Big Apple. I can’t deny it is all very overwhelming and nerve racking. I go back between feeling of anxiety and excitement everyday just thinking about the future and what will become of my life, but in the end hopefully everything will just fall into place the way its supposed to be.

With the business of school, my Glamhive job, blogging and planning for the future I have defiantly felt a little overwhelmed. I don’t know if any new bloggers reading can relate but it is hard to stay motivated. When the numbers don’t grow and you are spending so much time on blogging, you just keep waiting for that big break. Doing photoshoots every week is very fun, but getting the perfect images and focusing on continuous improvement can be challenging for sure.

I am excited though to tell you all that I will be working very soon with the small Seattle boutique Canopy Blue! I will post more details on this new adventure once I am certain of more of exactly what I will be working on.

As excited as I feel about a move to the big city, I will definitely miss Seattle. I am getting sentimental and I still have quite a bit of time left! No matter how much I complain about the weather, Seattle has its charm. I am becoming accustomed to life here.. maybe Ill come back some day.

Anyways.. for this week’s post I decided to do a glam casual look with these new distressed jeans I bought from American Eagle for $60! I always felt that paying for ripped jeans was pointless, but with their growing popularity I feel that they are a definite closet staple. I paired them with my awesome tuxedo cape from BCBG Max Azria and statement heels from Zara. I also decided to buy the Lipgloss that turns into lipstick from Anastasia Beverly Hills and I totally get all the hype.. it is amazing!

I hope you all enjoy this weeks look. I am hoping to do a little bit more warm weather looks within the next couple of weeks as the weather clears up. We had 89 degrees yesterday (very unusual for Seattle) so I will have to start breaking out my summer dresses.

Hope you all have a wonderful rest of your week and thanks always for reading! Gracias por leer!

Wear what inspires you,

-Besos DSC_6005DSC_6090DSC_6104DSC_6120DSC_6122DSC_6175DSC_6297
