White-out and Fur

Hola mis fashionistas!

I was asked last week what I consider my style to be, and I found myself scrambling for ways to put that into words. On one hand, I feel that I love a minimalistic look; a simple piece that can be dressed up or down with accessories is number one in my closet. At the same time, I have a girly side. Not in the sense that I am in skirts and pink all the time, but there is something special about a flowy dress that makes you want to spin around for hours. Lastly I am very PNW. And by that I mean 70 percent of my closet is black!

But no matter what, I believe style is ever changing. Our experiences, the places we visit, the people we meet, the things we read, movies we see… they all can influence where our style goes and mine right now is a mix of a lot of different sources. With that in mind, my look this week is an all white minimalistic outfit with a red statement fur jacket. This amazing jacket was one of those unexpected finds from a boutique in Bainbridge Island, just an hour or two from Seattle. The top is from BCBG, the jeans from Zara and my sun glasses are actually from American Eagle (I have like 3 pairs!).

Random thought.. I totally realized during this shoot that I am starting to have an obsession with burgundy based on my last post and my shoot in central park a couple months ago.. This might mean a new favorite color!

Anyways, I hope you all enjoy this look and feel free to comment, as I always say, I love feedback! As a new blogger a like seriously means the world to me.

More posts coming within the next two days about the Art Institute of Seattle Fashion show and the Glamhive launch party (an app that I am now an ambassador for.. but more on that next time) ❤

Thanks for reading and remember to..

Wear what inspires you,
