As Spring draws near and the flowers begin to gloom, the only thing on my mind is updating my closet! Flowers, bright colors, pastels, prints and textures.. these are a few of the trends that always excite me. I live in black head to toe during the winter so I have been searching for the opportunity to leave that behind and get ready for sunshine!
Neiman had a little runway set up on the bottom floor with Seattle Mag magazines and goodies in each chair. Three major style influencers sat a front and went over each of the outfits in detail describing the major trends. The ones that stood out to me the most were: off the shoulder tops, red statement pieces, flared jeans (yes.. they are making a comeback), and lots of denim. My favorite look included a bright flower skirt contrasted with a rough leather jacket.
It was a pleasure to get to connect with more Seattle Style influencers including bloggers, business owners, as well as editors for various local magazines covering fashion. I am truly lucky to have such a supporting community here in Seattle. I feel that every event gives me a chance to widen my network and learn more about this underground fashion scene that many people don’t realize exists here in the city.
I leave you here with some backstage shots and encourage you to check out more amazing pieces at the Neiman Marcus website here. And catch me up on what your favorites were, Im curious to see wether we had the same ones.
Hope everyone is having a lovely week and has an even better weekend! And don’t forget..
Wear what inspires you,
My favorite look ❤
