A little about me…

Hi Fashionista!

I am excited that you have stumbled upon my blog. First of all thank you! I believe that every blog is only as good as its followers and therefore I am happy to have you here.

So now I would love to share a little about what makes me.. well ME. This blog was a project I had been thinking about for quite some time. I was trying to figure out what the best way would be to share my passion for fashion and inspire those around me by doing what I love.

So hence I decided to start a blog. This is a lifestyle blog where I hope to share not only beautiful pictures but advice and inspiration on how to make it in fashion, starting from my own experiences as a marketing student in the beautiful city of Seattle. Colombian born and raised, I moved to the city 10 years ago to make my dreams come true. I am a believer that everything can be accomplished if you put your mind to it and you never forget where you want to go. For me that is Paris, the city of love.

“The Colombian Princess” came from the beloved nickname given to me by my friends. The question is: How did they come up with it? Perhaps it has a little bit to do with being overdressed at all times, or maybe the fact that I can be a little bit of a princess sometimes, given that I am an only child. But besides those very true facts, the nickname stuck with me and therefore became the inspiration for my blog. It is a reminder of those incredible people around me, that even when they tease me 24/7, they are my inspiration and push me to follow my dreams and not be anyone other than ME.

So ‘the Colombian Princess’ blog will be glamour, inspiration and fashion and a little of my Colombian self all packaged into one. I really hope that you enjoy it 🙂

I leave you with a quote that always reminds me to stay classy, and that inspires me to dress my best all the time: “Elegance is the discipline of life”- Oscar de la Renta.

So stay chic and..

Wear what inspires you!
